QAE Project Starting in 2026
Excited to announce the upcoming QAE (Quantum Algorithm Engineering) project starting in January 2026!
This COMET module project, funded by the FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency), aims to bridge the gap between quantum computing hardware and industrial applications. The project will run from January 2026 to December 2029.
Key focus areas include:
- Combinatorial quantum optimization
- Quantum machine learning
- Integration of quantum algorithms into hybrid systems
- Development of software tools for evaluating practical quantum computing applications
The project is a collaboration between the Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH) and the Institute for Business Informatics – Software Engineering at Johannes Kepler University Linz.
